At Set Apart we specialise in facilitating physical activity lifestyle change for families, parents and children.

We love the idea of helping parents and children (together)  change the way they approach exercise and life! 

We desire all ages to fall in love with the physical and mental health benefits of deliberate movement and have fun!

The Physical Activity Guidelines in Australia for children aged 5-17 is 60mins of deliberate moderate-vigorous activity over a 24 hour period. Only 23% of children aged 5-14 achieve the recommendations.

Our Approach


We work together with you and your child with the aim to educate, empower and provide the support for your family to consistently achieve a level of physical activity that will change your lives.

We get both you and your child in a gym-like setting to train together with a focus on developing balance, mobility and strength through resistance training. 

We send everyone home with the knowledge, accountability and strategies to sustain active and healthy lifestyle choices.

Jonathan, Your Exercise Physiologist, is the father of two children under four years old, and completely understands the joys and challenges of raising children (at least young ones!).

Jonathan empathises with every parent who is concerned about providing the best health outcomes for their child while also tackling modern tech entertainment options and sedentary activities.

Jonathan is passionate about parents pioneering healthy family culture change and seeing the next generation be equipped with the tools and character to drive their own active and healthy routine, for their lifetime.

Jonathan is gifted at teaching and is happy to be that person constantly reminding everyone to exercise.
